Why Grace?
Scripture: John 1:17
Grace is most needed and best understood in the midst of sin, suffering and brokenness. We live in a world of earning, deserving and merit, which results in judgement. That is why everyone wants and needs grace. Judgement kills. Only Grace makes us alive through the redemptive power of the Cross.
Effects of Grace:
1. Grace makes us eager to obey.
2. Grace makes us work hard.
3. Grace makes us thankful.
Prayer for Grace: Lord Jesus, grant us Your grace and give us time for repentance. We want to keep Your commandments and do Your bidding, choose the better part and no longer follow evil. Give us Your strength to do this for Your name’s sake. Amen.
