WHO AM I? (Psalm 8)
Scripture: Psalm 8:1-8:
- God’s glory is beyond our ability to fully comprehend, and yet can be known by even little children. (Exodus 3:13-14;Exodus 34:5-7 )
- We are so small and insignificant in this universe, and we are created with dignity and for a purpose. (James 4:14)
- We are made in the image of God. (Genesis 1:26-27)
- We are created for a purpose. (Ephesians 2:10)
5. The eternal, immortal, glorious God became a baby, suffered, and died on the cross. (Philippians 2:5-11)
6. God did not just create us in His image for a purpose, He died for us to restore that image in us, and put His Holy Spirit in us to conform us to that image, and rose again to guarantee us eternal life with Him.
O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!
