Thought for the day

At the heart of Christianity is the message of grace, humility, and love. Jesus himself said in Matthew 7:3-5:
“Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?”
We’re not called to focus on the faults of others, if anything, we’re warned not to. But it’s human nature to deflect from our own struggles by highlighting someone else’s. Sometimes it’s pride, sometimes insecurity, and sometimes just misunderstanding of what it means to live like Christ.
The Christian walk is meant to be marked by self-examination, compassion, and helping others gently, not condemnation. Condemnation is not of God but a tool the enemy uses to destroy relationships.
