Kingdom Family
Scripture: “Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. ‘Honor your father and mother’—which is the first commandment with a promise—‘so that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.’” — Ephesians 6:1–3
Kingdom Truth: Honour is a foundational principle in God’s Kingdom. It is not just about obedience, but about valuing, respecting, and recognizing the authority God has placed in our lives. When we walk in honour, we align ourselves with God’s order, and this releases blessing, protection, and longevity.
Application: Choose to show intentional respect toward parents, spiritual leaders, and those in authority, even when it’s not easy. Honour is expressed through attitude, words, and actions. Speak well, listen well, and respond with humility. In doing so, you create an atmosphere where God’s favour can flow freely.
Declaration: I walk in honour toward those God has placed over me. As I do, I receive His blessing, favour, and the fullness of His promises over my life.
