Discipleship is the process of following Jesus, growing in faith, and helping others do the same. It involves learning from Scripture, being mentored in the Christian faith, and living out the teachings of Jesus in everyday life. Discipleship is not just about personal spiritual growth, but also about guiding others to become followers of Christ.

Why it’s important for us as Christians to get involved in discipleship:
1. Spiritual Growth:
Discipleship helps us deepen our relationship with God, understand His will, and live according to His purpose.
2. Obedience to the Great Commission:
Jesus commanded His followers to “go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19). Being part of discipleship fulfills this command and helps spread the gospel.
3. Community and Accountability:
Discipleship creates a supportive community of believers who encourage and hold one another accountable in their walk with Christ.
4.Transformation:
Through discipleship, we are shaped to reflect the character of Jesus and live out His love, humility, and compassion in the world.

In short, discipleship is crucial because it helps us grow in our faith and equips us to help others do the same, ultimately advancing God’s Kingdom on earth.
