Thought for the day
Here are four reasons why we as Christians shouldn’t be complacent:
1. Stagnation in Spiritual Growth:
Complacency leads to a lack of desire to deepen one’s relationship with God, causing spiritual growth to plateau.
2. Vulnerability to Temptation:
When we become complacent, we may let our guard down, making it easier for sinful habits and temptations to take root.
3. Missed Opportunities for Service:
A complacent faith can prevent us from stepping out in faith to serve others, share the gospel, or live out God’s calling.
4. Lack of Accountability:
Complacency can foster a disengaged attitude toward biblical teachings and the accountability of a Christian community, weakening our resolve.
