Kingdom Marriage
Scripture: Ephesians 5:25 (NKJV) “Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her.”
Kingdom Truth
Love in marriage is not based on feelings—it is based on obedience. In Ephesians 5:25, love is commanded, not suggested. God calls husbands to love their wives in the same way Christ loves—sacrificially and intentionally. This kind of love does not depend on mood, agreement, or convenience. It is a decision rooted in covenant.
In a Kingdom marriage, love is an act of submission to God. When you choose to love, even when it is difficult, you reflect Christ’s heart. Feelings may fluctuate, but obedience keeps love steady and strong.
Application
Love sacrificially, even when it costs you. Choose patience when you feel frustrated. Choose kindness when you feel misunderstood. Choose forgiveness when you feel hurt. Choose service when you feel weary.
Do not wait to “feel” loving—decide to love. Let your actions lead your emotions. When you practice obedient love, your marriage becomes stronger and more secure.
Declaration
I love as Christ loves—selflessly and fully.
