Kingdom Marriage
Scripture: Ecclesiastes 4:12 – “Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.”
Kingdom Truth: A Christ-centered marriage cannot be easily broken. When husband and wife are joined together with Christ as the third strand, their union gains divine strength, stability, and resilience. What tries to divide them must first contend with the presence of God within their covenant.
Application: Invite Jesus into decisions, conflicts, and plans. Pray together before responding in frustration. Seek His wisdom before making major choices. Worship together in seasons of joy. When challenges arise, ask, “What would honour Christ in this moment?” Making Him central transforms ordinary marriage into kingdom partnership.
Declaration: Jesus is the foundation of our marriage. He is the third strand that strengthens, sustains, and secures our covenant.
