Thought for the day
The Bible, in Lamentations 3:22–23, says: “Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” This verse reminds us that each new day is a fresh expression of God’s mercy and faithfulness.
1. God’s mercy is constant: His love and compassion never run out, no matter our failures or struggles.
2. Each day offers a new beginning: Every morning symbolizes a chance to start again, free from yesterday’s mistakes.
3. God’s faithfulness is unfailing: His character does not change; we can trust Him to be merciful every day.
4. Renewed hope and strength: Knowing His mercies are new daily gives us courage and peace to face each day.
God’s mercies being new every morning reminds us that His love is ongoing, His forgiveness is available, and His faithfulness never fades giving us fresh hope with every sunrise.
