Thought for the day
Here are a few brief reasons why integrity is important for us as Christians:
1. Reflects God’s character – God is truthful and just (Proverbs 12:22), so living with integrity shows His nature in our lives.
2. Builds trust and witness – Integrity strengthens our testimony; others are more likely to believe our message about Christ when our actions match our words (Matthew 5:16).
3. Obedience to God’s Word – The Bible commands honesty and righteousness (Proverbs 10:9, Colossians 3:9).
4. Brings peace and confidence – When we live truthfully, we have a clear conscience and inner peace before God and others.
5. Honours God – Integrity glorifies God because it demonstrates faithfulness and moral strength even when no one is watching.
