A Christian businessman has a light inside that needs to be showcased to others and this entails so much more than announcing on every social media platform that we are a believer. Our light will be seen in the way we interact with our clients. It will be seen in the way we,for example,handle product refunds and negative feedback. It is important that we honour God with our business by choosing to walk with integrity and kindness. People will be watching to see how we handle unexpected situations that arise in our business, but more importantly, our Lord and Savior will be watching.

“Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.” Romans 12:10 NIV

In business we will see many examples of greed, dishonesty, and deceit. We will see people who don’t honour God who are thriving in business, however we know our hope is in the Lord. We know we are called to follow Him and that He sees our hard work. He cares for us so much and He has not forgotten about us. He has already accounted for our struggles and He has won the victory for us already. We need to keep going and keep the faith. When we honour the Lord with business He will surely bless us.
