Thought for the day

When there is divisiveness and strife in the church, all kinds of evil can abound because:

1. It opens the door to pride, jealousy, and selfish ambition (James 3:16).

2. Unity is broken, weakening the church’s witness and spiritual strength.

3. Love and forgiveness are replaced with bitterness and resentment.

4. Satan exploits division to sow confusion, false teaching, and sin.

5. God’s Spirit is grieved, and His work is hindered among believers.

In short, where unity and peace are absent, spiritual disorder and sin can easily take root and spread.
