#Surrender

When we surrender it means we leave our future to God. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths” (ESV).
We all have an area of our life that we have not surrendered or completely surrendered to our Heavenly Father. Maybe we’ve surrendered the kitchen and the living room. But what about the bedroom of our life or the closet and the garage of our life?
Some of us may not have surrendered our sex life to God. We may say, “I know God says sex is only for marriage, but I’m going to do it my way.” That’s why we’re under stress. Some of us may not have surrendered our finances to God. We think, “I know God says that I should give the first 10 percent back to him, but I can’t afford to tithe.” And that’s why we find ourself under stress. Many of us may not have surrendered our relationships to God. We say, “I know I should forgive that person who hurt me, but I’m not going to forgive them.” That’s why we’re under stress. Some of us may not have surrendered a secret sin to God. Or maybe it’s a hurt, habit, or hang-up we haven’t surrendered to God.
The most important thing is to have surrendered our life to Jesus Christ.Surrender today and leave the future to God.It’s time to stop fighting with God. Surrendering to God is the ultimate expression of faith.
