Thought for the day.

 Prayer is a conversation, not a monologue. When we pray it is important that we don’t do all the talking.We can’t build a friendship with God if we don’t let Him talk to us.
How do we let God talk to us? The most important way that God will talk to us is through His Word. Everything that God wants to say to us, is already in his Word. People are always running around looking for some sign, thinking “I wish God would tell me what He wants me to do. I wish He would give me a sign” God is not going to write His will in the sky because He’s already written it in His Book.
We need to stop looking for a sign, and start looking at Scripture. Stop looking for a vision, and start looking for a verse. God’s will is in God’s Word. The more we read and study His Word, the more we’re going to know what to do.
When we pray a breakthrough prayer of surrender, God will say to us that we mustn’t be afraid or discouraged. It’s God’s battle, and He’ll handle it. We need to just keep serving in our position and wait, and watch what God does.
