In order for us to truly live a successful Christian life we need to put God first in every area of our life.

Let’s look at 5 areas that we can put God first:

1. Finances.

If we want God to bless our finances, even during hard times, we need to make sure that we are tithing.

2. Interests.

We need to ensure that we place God first in our hobbies, our career, and our recreation. God must have our first consideration in every decision.

3. Relationships.

He must have top priority in our family, our marriage, and our friendships.

4. Schedule.

We must give Him the first part of every day. When we wake up, we must say, “God, if I don’t get anything else done today, I just want to love you a little bit more and know you a little bit better.”

5. Troubles.

We must turn to God first when we have a problem. Prayer should never be our last resort but should always be our first choice.

We need to purpose to put God first in everything and then watch how much God blesses us.
