Thought for the day

Renewing our mind is not a one-time event. It’s a daily process, like showering or brushing our teeth. Our mind collects grime from daily life, doubts, fears, lies, and temptations, and it needs regular cleansing from God’s Word.
We renew our mind by:

1. Replacing lies with truth.
Identify the thought that contradicts God’s Word, then speak His Word into that space.
2. Spending time in Scripture.
God’s Word is not just information; it’s transformation. It rewires how we think, feel, and live.
3.  Inviting the Holy Spirit to search us.
He can reveal patterns of thought that don’t align with God’s will, even ones we’ve lived with for years.
4. Resisting cultural pressure.
We mustn’t let the world squeeze us into its mold. We need to let God shape our thoughts into something holy.

As our mind is renewed, our ability to discern God’s will grows stronger. Paul says we can “test and approve what God’s will is; His good, pleasing and perfect will.” A renewed mind helps us think with clarity, wisdom, and spiritual sensitivity. We begin to desire what God desires. We start to see life through His lens.
