Thought of the day.

When we look at the dynamic of the church, both from a universal and a local perspective, we would expect it to be different from the way the world is conducting itself. We would expect people to be operating in the God kind of love and that we would not see unrighteous anger in any shape or form. The Word of God does say that we can be righteously angry but is very clear that we should not sin in our anger. In fact the Word of God states that we should not let the sun go down on our anger. In this God is saying that if we are angry with a person we should deal with it immediately in love so that it doesn’t fester and build into anger and hatred for a fellow believer.
We have so many Christians that are conducting themselves in a manner which is no different to that of the world. We have a bunch of Christians who are angry with their brothers and sisters for various reasons some of which may be totally justifiable from a natural perspective. However as Christian we are called to love our brothers and sisters in Christ regardless of their actions. We are meant to walk in forgiveness which undergirds love and deal with the issues at hand from a biblical perspective. The world should know that we are His disciples by the love we have one for another. Our ability to allow the love of Christ to flow through us one to another is our witness to a broken world.
