Thought for the day

Our Heavenly Father desires that we learn to be a giver, not a taker. He wants us to surrender to Jesus by laying down every area of our life.Jesus said, “If you insist on saving your life, you will lose it. Only those who throw away their lives for my sake and for the sake of the Good News will ever know what it means to really live” (Mark 8:35 TLB).
We need to submit ourself to God and His purposes for our life.Romans 6:13 says, “Give yourselves to God . . . and surrender your whole being to him to be used for righteous purposes” (GNT). When we give ourself to God and allow Him use us, life becomes a real adventure and that’s truly when we start to live.
We make the Kingdom of God our primary concern by caring about the things God cares about. God doesn’t care about money and fame. He doesn’t care about a lot of the things we care about but one point we can be sure of is that He cares most about people.
We need to purpose in our heart to build our life around the things that are most important to Him. He’ll provide our every need, and we’ll find true purpose in life.
