Scripture: Hebrews 13:4 – “Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral.”
Kingdom Truth: God honours intimacy within marriage. Intimacy is a sacred gift from God designed to strengthen the covenant between husband and wife. When it is protected and enjoyed within the boundaries God established, it brings unity, joy, and deep connection. Kingdom marriages recognize that intimacy is not merely physical, but also emotional and spiritual, reflecting love, commitment, and mutual honour.
Application: Protect intimacy from distractions and compromise. Guard your marriage from influences that distort God’s design for intimacy, such as impurity, neglect, or divided attention. Invest time in nurturing closeness through communication, affection, and intentional care for one another so that intimacy remains strong and life-giving.
Declaration: Our intimacy is pure, joyful, and God-honouring.
