Respect and honour are vital in our Christian walk for several key reasons:

1. Reflect God’s Character:
God calls believers to love and value others (Romans 12:10). Showing respect and honour mirrors His nature and teachings.
2. Obedience to Scripture:
The Bible commands us to honour parents (Exodus 20:12), authorities (Romans 13:1–2), and each other (1 Peter 2:17), showing it is essential to Christian living.
3. Promotes Unity:
Respect fosters peace and unity within the Body of Christ (Ephesians 4:2–3), which is crucial for a strong, loving Christian community.
4. Witness to the World:
Living with honour and respect demonstrates Christ’s love to others, making our faith more credible and attractive (Matthew 5:16).
5. Spiritual Growth:
Respecting others humbly positions us to learn, serve, and grow spiritually (Philippians 2:3–4).
