Thought for the day

It is important for us as Christians to bear fruit for the following reasons:
1. Obedience to Christ
Jesus commanded His followers to bear fruit (John 15:8), showing that it’s a clear expectation of discipleship.
2. Evidence of Faith
Bearing fruit shows genuine faith and a transformed life (Matthew 7:17-20; James 2:17).
3. Glorifies God
When we bear good fruit, it brings glory to God and points others to Him (John 15:8; Matthew 5:16).
4. Builds the Kingdom
Spiritual fruit like love, kindness, and evangelism helps grow the Church and impact the world for Christ (Galatians 5:22-23).
5. Personal Growth
Bearing fruit leads to spiritual maturity and a deeper relationship with God (Colossians 1:10).
