Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
5 ways that we can deal with our anxiety and change our focus from our own problems to Christ:
1. Change our thinking by making intentional choices to shift our focus to Christ
2. Be Thankful. God has given us so much to be thankful for and by acknowledging it, our attitude can shift from worry to peace
3. Practice Good Self -Care by prioritizing physical exercise, proper nutrition, adequate sleep and connection with other people.
4. Make room for joy. Laughter triggers the release of endorphins in the brain. Laughter is good for our heart and our immune system and it relaxes the whole body.
5. Seek Christian Counseling. We need to take it to the Lord and ask Him for direction and Wisdom to find the correct professional Christian counselor to assist us to find the solutions we are seeking.
