Thought for the day

The spirit of compromise has entered many of the Churches causing believers or church leaders to weaken biblical truth to fit cultural values, personal comfort, or societal approval.
When operating in a spirit of compromise, instead of standing firmly on God’s Word, the Church may:
*Tolerate sin to avoid offending others.
*Water down the gospel to attract more people.
*Prioritize popularity or success over holiness and truth.
*Adopt worldly standards in areas like morality, leadership, or worship.

This drift often happens gradually, starting with small concessions, but it ultimately leads to spiritual lukewarmness and loss of witness. Revelation 2–3 warns churches about such compromise, urging them to return to truth and repentance.
