Kingdom Marriage

Scripture: “Whoever would foster love covers over an offense, but whoever repeats the matter separates close friends.” Proverbs 17:9

Kingdom Truth: In the Kingdom, love is not passive—it is intentional and powerful. Love chooses to cover rather than expose, to heal rather than divide. Offense is one of the enemy’s most effective tools to bring separation, but when we walk in God’s love, we disarm that strategy. Covering an offense does not mean ignoring truth; it means refusing to magnify hurt or allow it to take root in our hearts. Kingdom love always seeks restoration over division.

Application: Make a daily decision not to revisit or rehearse past hurts—whether in your thoughts, words, or conversations with others. Guard your heart against offense by quickly forgiving and releasing any grievances to God. When something arises, choose to address it with grace and humility rather than allowing it to linger. Build a culture in your marriage where love speaks louder than past mistakes.

Declaration: Love covers all offenses in our marriage. We choose forgiveness, unity, and restoration. Offense has no place in our hearts, and we walk in the fullness of God’s love toward one another.
