Kingdom Marriage
Scripture: 1 Corinthians 11:3 “But I want you to know that the head of every man is Christ, the head of woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.”
Kingdom Truth: Godly leadership in marriage is not about control or dominance but about reflecting the heart of Christ. Just as Christ lovingly leads and cares for His Church, leadership in marriage should be expressed through humility, sacrifice, protection, and responsibility. When leadership is submitted to Christ, it creates order, security, and spiritual strength within the marriage.
Application: Leadership in marriage should always be exercised with humility and a servant’s heart. Seek God’s wisdom in decisions, listen to one another with respect, and lead by example in faith, character, and love. When leadership reflects Christ, it nurtures trust, unity, and spiritual growth within the home.
Declaration: Christ-like leadership governs our marriage. We walk in humility, love, and responsibility, building a home that honours God.
