An absolutely wonderful way to honour God with our business is to give. The Lord’s Word has much to say about giving because it is a true characteristic of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He sacrificially gave Himself, holy and sinless, so that you and I could experience life abundantly. Serving and giving are not only important in our faith, but also in our business.

“The generous will prosper; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed” Proverbs 11:25 NLT

We should strive to give our audience and clients more than they expect. Our products and services, emails and social media posts should be a blessing. We don’t need to worry about withholding our best products or secret success strategies to ourselves. We know that the more we share, the more opportunities we have to truly change someone’s life.

We can also honour God with our businesses by giving away a portion of our profits. We could then sow into other businesses. The main idea is that we tithe and give. God is pleased when we give and He knows our hearts when we give.

“You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. For God loves a person who gives cheerfully. And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and

plenty left over to share with others.” 2 Corinthians 9:7-8
