Thought of the day.
When you are running a marathon one generally finds that around the half way mark that you will “hit the wall”. There is serious pain in your legs caused by a lactic acid build up and at this point the body is telling your mind that it wants to stop running the race. You now have a choice to quit or push through and get your second wind The same applies to us as Christians, running our Christian race and we hit the wall (things get tough). We have a choice to succumb to our feelings and emotions or to keep our eyes focused on Jesus and to be a doer of His Word.
When we are obedient to God and His Word as opposed to our feelings then this empowers us by His grace to persevere and finish the race set before us.
