Thought for the day

Arrogance is damaging to the Kingdom of God for several key reasons:
1.Contradicts Christ’s Humility:
Jesus modeled humility and servant leadership. Arrogance directly opposes His example and teachings (Philippians 2:3–8).
2. Repels, Rather Than Attracts:
Arrogant behavior drives people away from the faith, making Christians seem self-righteous or judgmental rather than compassionate and loving.
3. Hinders Unity:
Arrogance creates division within the Church, undermining the unity that Christ prayed for among His followers (John 17:21).
4. Obscures the Gospel:
The focus shifts from God’s grace to human pride, making the Gospel message seem like a moral superiority contest rather than a gift of salvation for all.
5. Damages Witness:
When we as Christians act arrogantly, we discredit our testimony, giving non-believers reasons to reject the faith based on our behaviour rather than truth.

True Kingdom work is rooted in love, grace, humility, and service—not pride or superiority
